Get Flipped!™ Awarded Best Event Photography 2nd Year in a Row
Orange County company’s new 3D photos honored at ISES-LA

LOS ANGELES, CA – JULY 15, 2009 – For the second year in a row, Orange-based company Get Flipped!™ has been honored for Best Event Photography by the Los Angeles chapter of the International Special Events Society. The award was given for the launch of the company’s newest product – 3D Flip Photos™ that jump right out of the frame, no glasses required! – at a premiere party for the motion picture Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D. The same photos are also nominated for an international award for Best Event Photography, to be presented in August at the ISES Eventworld 2009 Esprit Awards.

With 3D movies and promotional items gaining popularity, Get Flipped!™ CEO Raleigh Souther saw an opportunity to bring the magic of 3D to event photography with lenticular technology. At New Line Cinema’s premiere party for Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D, the 3D Flip Photos™ magically transported guests to a 3D prehistoric world where they were being chased by a giant T-Rex – just like the characters in the movie! Within minutes, each guest received a 3D Flip Photo™ magnet to take home. The speed of production and stunning 3D effect make for a truly eye-catching giveaway item – and Get Flipped! is the only company in the nation that offers these unique photo keepsakes live at events. This leap into 3D continues the company’s tradition of innovation, as they were also the first to offer instant animated Flip Photos™ on-site at events in 2003 using their unique Pro-Studio Software.

The Los Angeles chapter of the International Special Events Society held their annual award banquet at the Regency Club in Westwood, with about 100 nominees and guests in attendance. Awards were presented for excellence in thirteen different categories to special events professionals operating in the greater Los Angeles area. Last year, Get Flipped! won “Best Event Photography” for their animated photos taken at the release party for Maroon 5’s album “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long.”

Get Flipped!™ is also currently touring with Britney Spears, creating counterfeit-proof security badges for her 2009 World Tour “The Circus.”
